Reception have really enjoyed their learning about minibeasts in the woods this week! They have made cosy homes for ladybirds, planted seeds for butterfly food and were even greeted by lots of snails when it started to rain!
We enjoyed trying on lots of police clothes and seeing the car. We even got to sit inside!
Cherry Class have been getting into the Easter spirit with a bit of egg rolling and measuring the distance that their eggs have rolled using footsteps.
‘At Telford Infant School the school councillors have been counting all the money for Red Nose Day. There were loads of pound coins. It took 20 minutes to count all the money. We raised nearly £400! Well done everyone.’

We copyed the sunflower picher by Van Gogh. We used pastalls. We planted sunflowers and beans.

Last week in Reception we were learning about shapes and patterns. We looked for patterns in our outdoor classroom and in the playground and then made them inside.
Cherry Class have been exploring brick patterns through printing – linked to our learning ‘The Three Little Pigs’.
“The whole school dressed up as different characters from a book. We had a muddle up story time. We could choose which story to go and listen to. Turquoise, Sunshine and Crimson classes made a Where’s Wally picture.”
